Middle-aged single lady needs help with some repairs in her mobile home.  On SS Disability due to several health issues.  No family in Grayson County to help.  Could use a church home, but does not drive (no car, no license).  Would need someone to pick her up.  She has no funds available for materials at this time.  Adopting church (or PCW) would need to cover cost of materials.

Repairs needed (listed in priority):

• ·         Deck and stairs on front of mobile home (largest part of project):
• o   Deck needs leveling, bracing and reinforcement (screws)
• o   Wood is mostly in very good condition, but needs additional treated 4x4 posts for support
• o   Steps are OK, but the side runners need to be replaced
• o   Doors need to be squared up and adjusted to open and close properly
• o   Install lattice work around the sides, to keep animals from getting underneath
• o   Cover needs to be built and installed, using 4x4 posts and securing to roof facia (edge)
• o   Optional:  Match the paint color and paint the whole deck when completed
• ·         Entryway floor is damaged due to rain coming in front door (due to lack of cover)
• o   Deck cover will help prevent this
• o   Some minor structural work needed (floor braces) underneath home
• o   Install new piece of plywood flush with top of floor
• o   See if threshold seal (and bottom of door) is adequate to prevent rain from blowing in, repair if needed
• o   Optional:  Install new piece of flooring 3’x4’ to make it look better
• ·         Dirt is washing across sidewalk (that leads to deck stairs) – Install edging along south side to help prevent
• ·         Underpinning skirt needs adjusting where home has settled – Several places to push back into groove and reattach
• ·         Kitchen oven door needs handle repaired (screws came loose), and burner element repaired or replaced
• ·         Kitchen cabinet drawers need to be put back on track, minor repairs made
• ·         Bathroom toilet on east end of home does not flush – Might be mud clogged up in line?
• o   Might need to pull commode up and run snake down line to clean out
• o   Flush with water
• o   Would need new wax ring
• ·         Bathroom tub on west end of home needs fixture replacements
